Steve Esmond caught his first sewin of the season recently. It weighed in at about 1 1/2 lb.
Keith John also had a fish of about the same size below the Junction pool in Wolfscastle, so the first run of fish are well spread out after the recent rain.
Adrian Batty has had 3 sewin up to 3lb below Treffgarne Bridge.
A few have been sighted jumping in the night, so hopefully when the nights warm up there will be more coming to the net. Members have hooked and lost a number of fish, the rain coming this weekend should wake the fish up.
