Surprising Catch at Rosebush?
Not strictly PAA, but perhaps a member can enlighten me...
Yesterday evening in the last shreds of twilight I was about to start rowing back to the fishing hut, but we've all had that 'one last cast', haven't we? Anyway, I hooked into what felt like a standard 1lb Rosebush brownie, except it didn't. It felt like I was playing a more 'lethargic' fish then usual. It just headed down and seemed to want to stay there - with none of the usual thrashing runs or jumps.

Is the Gorgon Pool really haunted?
When I first joined the PAA, 38 yrs ago, the older members would not fish the Gorgan Pool alone at night. Some members not at all after dark! I will tell my tale of one of those dark nights on the river. I swear this is just as it happened...
