Surprising Catch at Rosebush?

Not strictly PAA, but perhaps a member can enlighten me...

Yesterday evening in the last shreds of twilight I was about to start rowing back to the fishing hut, but we've all had that 'one last cast', haven't we? Anyway, I hooked into what felt like a standard 1lb Rosebush brownie, except it didn't. It felt like I was playing a more 'lethargic' fish then usual. It just headed down and seemed to want to stay there - with none of the usual thrashing runs or jumps.

Get your name in Trout & Salmon!

Every month PAA reports through our local contacts to the Fisheries pages of Trout & Salmon magazine. If you'd like to get your name in print for a catch or just let us know what's happening on your favourite beats - send in your details. You can contact us here...

Pictures and reports are also welcomed for publication on our website too!
