Fly fishing members will be delighted to learn that the Bank Maintenance Team have carried out a significant clearance of a section on the Western Cleddau at Cutty Bridge. This will make a nice stretch of water which was previously inaccessible now easily ‘fishable’ on the fly. You’ll see the difference in these before and after pictures!
The Maintenance Team – mostly comprised of Committee Members – works throughout the season to maintain the quality of waterside access and angling habitats. We are always seeking new volunteers to help us keep on top of this ongoing task. If you might be willing and able to help out we are always happy to welcome new workers! Whilst there is work to be done, it’s also a great opportunity to meet other PAA anglers, have a good gossip and get some great tips on catches and methods!
