Very Sad News

We have very sad news that our association President, John Pilcher, passed away last week. John had over 40 years experience fishing locally and had been for many years a significant amabassador not just for PAA, but for the whole angling community in general. He had been a PAA member for over 40 years, latterly as President and was the mainstay of our disabled days at Treffgarne. His passing is a huge loss to the Association.

He worked tirelessly in promoting angling. He was well known and respected not just in the local community, but also across the wider angling community too. He was especially pivotal in promoting and running courses for disabled anglers, freely sharing his expertise and enthusiasm.

John will be sorely missed and our local community will be the poorer for his passing. His funeral will take place on Monday 20th February at Narberth Crematorium at 2:30pm.

Our thoughts and sincere condolences go to his family and friends.
